It was a sudden decision to hike the Chokkanmudi peak. I heard about this place from my friend Rakesh , he and his wife had a visit to the location last week and told me about the place. I noted down the routes , but when i first searched google for "chokkanmala" and the search results were so poor and i didnt get any path in google map.I finally decided to travel to the location with the details i have.I went for bed thinking of whom would i call as y riding companion. I woke up early in the morning and called Suresh , he who usually comes with me , he was on a sound sleep and i woke him and said the idea of hiking the chokkanmudi peak. He agreed with the plan and we set off to the destination from our home town pallikkara by 9 am. We reached Adimaly and asked for anachal to the local peoples out there.We headed towards Anachal and Bison valley road.From there gap road and finally we found the criss cross on the road side .We parked the car there and hiked up to the peak.
